This March, COCUN is proud to announce the COCUN Healing Institute (CHI) as a beacon of unity, wisdom, and truth. The mission of the COCUN Healing Institute is to develop personalized paths to healing by bringing together the brightest minds and most profound insights to develop holistic, validated, and transformative healing paths for all of humanity. This research is being done to not only fuel the COCUN ecosystem of conscious businesses, but also help all of humanity. Recognizing that true healing cannot be experienced in isolation, the COCUN Healing Institute bridges the divide between fragmented health systems, ancient wisdom, and modern science—honoring the deep interconnection between human well-being and planetary sustainability.
A Four-Pillar Approach to Global Healing
The COCUN Healing Institute will drive its mission through four key pillars:
Educate– Healing requires accessibility to accurate and true information. The institute will serve as a global platform dedicated to informing and inspiring people worldwide to discover their own potential for healing. The institute will empower individuals with insights and resources so they can make informed choices.
Validate – In an age where knowledge is abundant but not always rooted in truth, the institute will validate global healing traditions, scientific advancements, and ancient wisdom to separate truth from misinformation. Wisdom is absolute, while assumptions must be tested.
Innovate– Recognizing that healing must be approached from multiple lenses, the institute will develop and advance groundbreaking solutions that integrate physical, emotional, mental, energetic, and spiritual health. These cutting-edge treatments and comprehensive protocols will be rooted in science and designed to bring about inner and outer transformation.
Connect– To truly heal, we must nurture our connection to self, others, nature and the divine. At every level of the COCUN ecosystem, the institute will encourage and facilitate exchanges that promote intergenerational bonding, community outreach, and service.

Four CHI labs are actively innovating new solutions:
360 Healing Lab.
Located in Agoura Hills, California, this foundational COCUN research facility is dedicated to expanding our understanding of healing, beyond that of our physical bodies. Through a mix of cutting-edge technologies, blended with coaching and spa services, the 360 Healing Lab is developing the future of comprehensive and personalized healing paths.
Peak Athlete Diagnostics Lab.
Located in Mill Valley, California, this optimization facility houses our elite athlete diagnostic lab and research partners. By working with top athletes in a wide range of sports, our research team is harnessing innovative technologies and protocols that improve performance, endurance, and recovery.
Healing Arts Program.
Located in Hermosa Beach, California, in partnership with nonprofit Indivisible Arts, our creative gallery and studio are at the heart of our community outreach and a hub for program research and development. Through this partnership we are developing creative workshops and programming scientifically designed to engage community healing, artistic expression, and multigenerational integration.
COCUN Farm.
Located in Santa Paula, California, the nearly 5000-acre farm encompasses all COCUN’s high vibration cultivation, animal ranches and culinary arts initiatives—a symbiosis of nature, technology, and intention. From its inception, our farm represents the future of our relationship with clean food and regenerative farming.

A visionary leader and conscious businessman, David Delrahim is the founder and CEO of COCUN—a mixed development company redefining the future of healing and community. With a background in scaling businesses in the energy sector, he shifted his focus to wellness in 2015, spearheading innovative projects that integrate assessments, modalities, and next-generation spa technologies to foster holistic healing ecosystems. “Healing is not a fragmented experience—it is an interconnected journey with a destination of healing, and we must embrace a holistic, truthful approach to create real change,” says Delrahim.
Beth McDougall, MD, Chief Medical Officer
A trailblazer in Integrative Medicine, Dr. Beth McDougall has spent over two decades merging Western medicine with alternative and energetic healing modalities. Specializing in chronic illness and neurodegenerative diseases, she co-founded Jyzen, a state-of-the-art medical and human performance center. She is passionate about integrating contemporary physics with medicine to revolutionize healing. “I now find myself advancing a new health paradigm—one at the intersection of medicine and contemporary physics, which I believe holds the solutions for reversing disease, slowing aging, and alleviating many of the challenges we face collectively,” says Dr. McDougall.
Ari Peralta, Director of Innovation
A globally recognized expert in neuroscience and sensory design, Ari Peralta is revolutionizing wellness innovation by integrating multisensory experiences into healing. His expertise has been sought by companies like Nissan and NASA, where he has developed groundbreaking sensory-driven health solutions. Through his interdisciplinary work, he is reshaping how wellness is experienced in different environments. “Our sensory experiences profoundly shape our well-being. Through COCUN, we are pioneering new ways to enhance healing and human performance through multisensory design,” says Peralta.
Rafael McMaster, Community Engagement Advisor
Rafael McMaster is the founder of Indivisible Arts, a nonprofit dedicated to fostering creativity, consciousness, and connection through art. He launched the gallery and creative lab Resin and developed a world-class youth arts program, including Creative Wisdom Tools, which helps young people build resilience and mental well-being through creativity. His mission is to make art education and creative healing accessible to all, not just those who can afford it. Through Indivisible Arts, Rafael continues to expand innovative programs that empower the next generation and strengthen the community through the transformative power of art.
Matthew Biancaniello, Culinary Arts Advisor
Matthew Biancaniello, author of Eat Your Drink and featured on Good Spirits™, is a pioneering chef known for his farm-to-glass creations. Sourcing ingredients from local farmers markets, he crafts unique, seasonal cocktails that blur the line between food and drink. His innovative approach, coined “Eat Your Drink,” has been featured in The New York Times, LA Times, CNN, and Forbes. Despite challenges, including the loss of his restaurant Mon-Li in the Woolsey Fire, his passion for redefining the food and drink experience remains stronger than ever.
